Mutual Recognition Agreement for Speech Pathologists
As of the 1st January 2005 a mutual recognition agreement of credentials came into force between SPA, The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), The Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). This agreement is mutual recognition that the four associations have substantially equivalent credentials so it is then possible that certified members of one association can be recognised by the others.
