Positions include general radiography, Mammography, CT scanning, MRI as well as Cardiac Cath and Nuclear medicine Sonographers and Therapy Radiographers.

We have jobs where you are the sole radiographer for a whole community (ask about our rural jobs) and also where you would be part of a team consisting of more than 70 Medical Imaging staff (Radiographers, Sonographers, Mammographers.)

Qualifications

Radiography, Radiation Therapy and Ultrasound qualifications obtained outside Australia are not immediately accepted and recognised in Australia. The Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) assesses these qualifications and the process can take up to 12 weeks to complete.

Visas

Anyone who does not hold an Australian or New Zealand passport will need an appropriate Visa or Work Permit to work in Australia. Two popular options are:

Working Holiday Visa

The Working Holiday Visa provides an opportunity for people between 18 and 30 to holiday in Australia and supplement their travel funds through employment. You can do any kind of work but work for more than six months with any one employer is not permitted.

Australia has reciprocal arrangements in effect with the UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, USA, Finland, the Republic of Cyprus, France, and Italy, Belgium, Estonia and Taiwan.
